Maternity Pants

Last week I decided it might be time to go ahead and order a couple pairs of Maternity pants. I was afraid one day I might wake up and start getting ready for work only to realize, none of my pants would fit! I logged on to Gap.com and ordered a pair of slacks for work and a pair of jeans, thinking I would give them a try.
Yesterday when I got home from work the pants had been delivered. I was very intrigued to see what they would look like. Would they look frumpy? Would they be baggy and ugly? Would I look like I was wearing maternity pants?
I pulled them out of the packaging and held them up. They looked just like my other pants from the Gap except there was no button or zipper--just a wide band of stretchy fabric. "Hmmm...they don't look so bad," I thought to myself.
I decided I would go ahead and try them on so I could send them back and exchange them for a different size if needed. The minute I slipped them on, my belly sighed "Thank you!" I guess I hadn't realized how tight my other pants had become until I felt the wonderful stretchy fabric surround my growing belly. Awwww. So much better. They are seriously the most comfortable pants I have ever put on!!
Now I understand what Joey was thinking in the video clip above. Come Thanksgiving, if anyone wants to borrow my maternity pants, just let me know :)
